TATTOO POLICY

 

Thank you so much for your interest in my work. 

This policy is meant to help you understand my scheduling process so we can work together in a more efficient way. It is very important that I can give you the time that you deserve so we can respect your time and mine.

Avoid text messages via phone number, please. I don’t triangulate conversations, the bookings are direct and personal. 

 

To speed up the process, send a message with the following:

1. Main idea of ​​the tattoo / What do you want to get tattooed? Note: You can add reference images or your own sketches to help clarify what you desire (It doesn't matter if you don't know how to draw, it really helps me visualize your idea).

2. Placement. Please attach a photograph of the area.

3. Size of the piece measured in centimeters or inches.

 

DOWNPAYMENT

 

Once you've agreed the total price, we will proceed to the non-refundable $100 USD downpayment through Zelle. The rest of the price will be paid in full cash on the day of your appointment, zelle or by credit card. 

 

Once you have made the deposit, date and time for your appointment will be scheduled. 

 

We will check your tattoo design on the same day of your appointment. I can't stress enough how important it is to be specific and detailed about your enquire. Due to high demand I cannot send a preview of your design since I accommodate one client per day. I focus the entire day working 1-1 with each client to detail every single piece. 

 

Note: There is no extra charge in my designs since it is part of what I offer: unique and custom tattoos. However, once the final design is approved, changes that compromise full or partial composition of the design will result in the forfeit of your downpayment and will require to schedule again.

In which cases do I lose the down payment?

• Down payments are not refundable, you can only change the date of your appointment if required with at least 48 hours or more in advance. There are no changes on dates in guest appointments unless I have another’s client cancellation and another date opens. I currently reside in Miami, Florida.

 

DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

 

• Arrive on time. It is not necessary to arrive 15 minutes before or half an hour before, we just ask that you arrive at the agreed time.

• Eat well before the session to avoid low pressure or fainting. You can bring a sweet/snack/soda.

• Not alcoholic beverages with a minimum of 24 hrs previous your appointment. Save us the penalty of having to cancel if you arrive under the influence of alcohol or any other harmful substance.

• Make sure you are not in a hurry on the day of your appointment as it is difficult to know exactly how long the session will take, so we can work calmly and as long as necessary. remember, tattoos are for life and laser hurts 10x more.

TATTOO AFTERCARE

 

It is important to follow the aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and minimize the chance of getting infections or touch ups. Remember HEALING is a teamwork, 50% your tattoo artist and the other 50% how you take care of it.

 

If you have been tattooed by me, I most likely sent you home with some patch for recovery on your new tattoo. This is a clear , breathable, waterproof , hypoallergenic film that covers your fresh tattoo and protects it from anything that may interfere with the healing process of your tattoo. I am currently using the brand Recovery DERM SHIELD.

 

So, in case my verbal instructions didn’t get through due to the adrenaline fog after your “ouchies”…. Please review the following instructions!

 

1. Keep the first Derm Shield I sent you home with on for 24 hours. (you may notice some liquid building up in there, blood + ink + plasma, this is completely normal.

2. After 24 hours gently peel the film off. (I always suggest doing in the shower so you may have an easier time cleaning the tattoo. The Derm will definitely stick, be careful, use warm water).

3. Wash your tattoo with fragrance free soap (neutral). After getting out of the shower, gently blot dry your tattoo with a freshly clean towel. You want your skin super dry before using lotion.

4. Apply your lubriderm (light blue one) to your fresh tattoo 3 times a day for 4 days. After this, apply lotion twice a day until it isn’t peeling, itchy or dry feeling (around 10-15 days). Reduce lotion to once a day lasts days until completing 20 days of healing. Make sure your hands are nice and clean before applying.

 

I don’t recommend any lotion or ointment other than Lubriderm. Some may be petroleum based or contain fragrance or may be very heavy for the pores. Besides there are many other good options, lubriderm is my favorite.

 

You do not have to obsessively wash your tattoo, only if you feel like it touched something it shouldn’t have . For example: you woke up in the morning and you may have sheet or clothing lint on it, animal fur etc. Wash your tattoo with gentle soap and water, dry and apply your lotion.

 

Please, do not pick or peel off the flaky skin, allow for it to come off naturally to avoid removing pigment from your tattoo.

 

Note:  If you are allergic to adhesives, or have found that the Derm Shield isn’t your thing or for any other reason we decided not to use it, just follow the same instructions, skipping the 1st and 2nd point.

 

Things NOT to do while healing a tattoo during 20 days.

 

• Swimming in pools / sea

• Hot tubs baths

• Sun exposure / beach

• Gym / workouts / excessive sweat / saunas

• Shaving the tattoo area

• Pets touching your fresh tattoo
